Sometimes Healing Hurts More Than The Wound.

Sometimes healing hurts more than the wound.

Ouch, right?

You may have noticed 2020 has been a deep healing process for the nation and for yourself.

We've all been forced to sit and truly look at what we have not dealt with in our lives.

A lot of therapists/healers will use the analogy of cutting an onion to break this concept down.

For example, your partner says something to you that triggers an emotional response. On the surface, you think its whats happening in the moment with your partner but then you realize you've felt this way before and it reminds you of that time in school when...

Layer by layer, it begins to boil down to the root of essentially shutting the light out.

If you've been feeling not so great and going through all of the feels, just know it doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. It could just mean that healing the layers hurts more than tolerating the surface of the wound.

But more than that, if you actually do the work to heal the layers, you get real freedom. You never have to be triggered by that situation again because you've done the work. You get to be you. You get your life back.

As a reminder, I offer a free consultation or if we haven't chatted in a while, I would absolutely love to hear from you. Let’s chat about where you're at with the layers of your onion.

Sending you lots of love and light.
