Feeling Angry? Overwhelmed? Super Stressed or Tired? Read This.

Here’s a quick tip on how to diffuse big feelings that you might be having at this very moment: No matter what you're feeling, the way out is through your SENSES. 

Using the senses is something I've been taught in my own life and is taught more in depth in my Empower Thyself Initiation workshop.

In order to diffuse big feelings, you want to start by tuning into this gift right within your body. 

  • For sight: where are you right now? Take a few moments to start looking around the room. 

  • For sound: what are you hearing right now? Letting these sounds seep in.

  • For touch: do you need to grab your chair or desk? What is tactile around you?

As you use your senses, those big emotions will begin to diffuse and you'll come back to the present moment. The senses allow us to be more perceptive and less reactive to whatever is happening in our lives.

Most of all, our senses help us to come home to ourselves.
